Are you working on a project in Madagascar related to the cultural and creative industries? Do you need support to help your project grow?
Then the ONY Booster is for you!
The ONY Booster is an acceleration program for projects in the cultural and creative sectors in Madagascar.
Each year, projects from the cultural and creative industries are selected and then supported in their development over a period of 6 to 12 months by mentors and trainers. They have access to local and international networking and visibility opportunities, as well as to the professional equipment of the ONY House, a 400m² workspace dedicated to CCIs in the heart of Antananarivo.
In order to select the laureates of ONY BOOSTER's Promo#2, the ONY association is launching a call for projects, which will close on Sunday, January 07, 2024. The support will begin in early February 2024.
The BOOSTER program laureates will benefit from:
- A grant of €2000 per selected project
- Support from one or more Malagasy and French mentors from their sector of activity or with relevant expertise to support the project
- Individual or collective training, according to needs
- Networking with structures in Madagascar and internationally, particularly in France, through the network of founders and partners of the association, in order to create development opportunities
- Exclusive access to the ONY House facilities, a 400m² workspace dedicated to cultural and creative industry actors in the heart of Antananarivo
To apply, you must respond to the call for projects via this Google form.
ATTENTION: the call for projects concerns ONLY the following artistic sectors: music, cinema, 3D animation, and video games.
As an example, the projects supported as part of ONY Booster's promo#1 were as follows:
- Workshop 7, a film school from scriptwriting to directing
- Kalanoro, a video game developed by the Red Raketa studio
- Sikajy, an animated series project produced by the Lewak animation studio
- Zetra Festival, a music festival in Ambatondrazaka
