Practical and concrete training courses

ONY Academy is the first school dedicated to professional training in the cultural and creative industries. It offers four training courses in the fields of cinema, 3D animation, video games, and music.

These courses are entirely free and last from 12 to 24 months, depending on the program. They combine theoretical training and practical application and are taught at ONY House by Malagasy and international professionals.

Students are selected without prior diploma requirements, based on personal projects, and are then brought together to create and learn the different trades throughout the creation process.

Cinema

Workshop 7

Workshop 7 is an A-to-Z filmmaking workshop for young filmmakers. The training lasts 12 months and addresses issues related to screenwriting, directing, and all the technical roles involved in the shooting and post-production phases. It thus provides real practical experience in making a film and opens up opportunities for a wide variety of careers in the film and audiovisual sector.

Hello, world 261

Helloworld261_! is a 24-month training program designed to enable participants to acquire a solid foundation in video game development.

The first year is dedicated to acquiring basic skills. During this first cycle, students work in small teams on creating a game concept and a prototype. The second year, open by selection to students who have completed the first cycle, is dedicated to deepening skills and supporting entrepreneurship. Students work on developing demos presentable to publishers at the end of the second year, and are supported in their entrepreneurial projects.

Helloworld261_! is a training program implemented in partnership with the international video game school RUBIKA. At the end of the first year, students benefit from a facilitated transfer to Rubika's Reunion campus, following an evaluation of their acquired skills.

3D Animation

Animhouse is an academy for enthusiasts who dream of mastering the art of 3D animation. For 24 months, students are supported by experienced local and international trainers.

The first year is primarily dedicated to acquiring basic 3D animation skills.

The second year, open to students who have completed the first cycle upon selection, is dedicated to deepening skills and working on two animated film projects.

The Animhouse training program is implemented in partnership with the renowned Gobelins Paris animation school.
