The MAMA Festival or the International Music Scene in full swing

The MAMA Festival is an unmissable music event that celebrates the diversity and creativity of the contemporary international music scene. Held annually in Paris, it offers a unique platform for emerging artists from around the world to showcase their talent and build connections within the music industry. The festival stands out for its eclectic program, encompassing a variety of genres from rock to electro, hip-hop and world music. In addition to concerts, the MAMA Festival also offers conferences, professional meetings and networking sessions in which ONY had the opportunity to participate.

Madagascar – Land of Potential

On October 11, 2023, ONY brought together a group of experts for the "Madagascar - Land of Potential" round table, to discuss the dynamism of the Malagasy music sector. The discussion, led by recognized professionals from the Indian Ocean, explored the reality, challenges, and opportunities of Madagascar's music scene while highlighting the unique approach that the ONY Project has developed to support this sector. The project partners were around the table: Gaëlle MASSICOT-BITTY, head of the live performance and music department at the Institut Français, Eric RASOAMIARAMANANA, programmer at La Teinturerie in Antananarivo, and Noah RAOELINA, founder of the music label Lamba 1 and stage manager of the ONY House. This discussion was moderated by Marie TRETIAKOW, social innovation consultant at Archipel&Co and head of the ONY Project in France.
