ONY officially inaugurates the ONY House!

On October 19, ONY officially opened the doors of ONY House!

ONY House is a unique place in Madagascar, dedicated to creation and training in the music, film, 3D animation, and video game industries.

The venue offers production tools that meet international standards: a sound studio, a film set, and a film post-production studio.

The inauguration, a highlight marking the official opening of the venue, brought together 180 participants, including Orelsan, Ahélya Randriambolaina, the Minister of Culture and Communication of the Republic of Madagascar, and the French Ambassador.

As Orelsan so rightly said: "This inauguration is just the beginning of a great adventure." This new chapter in ONY's history is now being written with all the artists, scriptwriters, directors, video game developers, 3D animation specialists, and other talents who will come to create and express themselves at ONY House. Here, collaborations and ideas that will shape the future of Malagasy creative arts are born!

A week of sharing experience and creativity

The inauguration of ONY House was an opportunity for ONY Academies students and incubated projects to present their work: video game demos, feature film projects, documentary projects, festivals... Talents are bubbling at ONY House!

ONY House is also an ecosystem of professionals gathered around Malagasy talents, to support their emergence and development. On the occasion of the inauguration, ONY welcomed professionals from film and music production, video games and 3D animation to lead masterclasses and exchange sessions with the students.

The week was punctuated by three concert evenings, helping to energize the local scene. At La Teinturerie, an all-female evening honored Eusebia, Joyce Mena, and DJ Aiyana. A reggae evening also ignited Jao's Pub, with performances by local bands such as 6WATT, Reggasy, Eka Zaho, Jah Roots, Malagasy Vibration, and Mashmanjaka. The official inauguration day ended beautifully with the captivating performances of Marco Klarck, Caylah, and Encoder Experiment.
