We are delighted to renew our collaboration with GOBELINS Paris, through the first Workshop of the year organized at AnimHouse, from March 23 to 28, 2026, focusing on scriptwriting.
This initiative is part of the structural partnership between ONY and GOBELINS Paris, which aims to train the talents of tomorrow and contribute to the development of cultural and creative industries in Madagascar, particularly in the fields of 3D animation, cinema, video games, and music.
Launched in 2024, AnimHouse is a free training program dedicated to 3D animation, designed to meet a dual objective: to train qualified technicians and to support the emergence of future author-directors. The program is based on three essential pillars: technical mastery, creative development, and character animation.
The workshop offered this week is for the first generation of second-year students. This new year of training, which opens for the 2026 academic year, marks a key step in the program's evolution, with an emphasis on writing and directing short films in teams, constituting a decisive phase of professionalization.
Since the launch of the partnership, GOBELINS Paris has supported the training through intensive pedagogical interventions, in addition to local trainers. These contributions, which can represent several hundred hours of training, allow the transmission of solid technical fundamentals while providing a work methodology directly inspired by industry standards.
Within this framework, the students had the opportunity to participate in a writing workshop supervised by Juliette Marchand, director and teacher at Gobelins, and Louise Ronzet, project manager for the international department of Gobelins. This support is part of a hybrid pedagogy, mixing intensive workshops, autonomous work, and progressive project monitoring, in order to bring students closer to real production conditions.

This Workshop fully illustrates the common ambition to structure a sector of excellence in 3D animation in Madagascar and to foster a new generation of creators, in a collaborative, demanding, and internationally oriented dynamic.
